At Joule Adventures we honor and celebrate the DIYers and those looking to troubleshoot their electrical systems on their own. We also understand the complexities of designing, upgrading, installing, and troubleshooting off-grid electrical systems.
We offer consulting services to those looking for support (or a safety check) while working on their own off-grid electrical system. Our consultations are customized to your needs. We start with an hour video call to review your system and the challenges you are facing, from there we identify a game plan to help get you back up and powered as soon as possible!
We offer product sourcing resources to our consulting clients. We order the supplies you need to be successful and ship it to you!

Each off-grid electrical system is unique, so are their challenges. We will get together for an hour video consult. Reviewing your system and looking to identify the root of the problem.
Our goal is to support all our clients in making informed and safe decisions with their off-grid electrical systems. We focus on helping you create a plan of action to get you powered!
Video Consult
Based on our consultation we provide a troubleshooting game plan. We highlight the actions we recommend you take to solve the problem. Sometimes there are a number of steps involved that we will outline for you.
Sometimes our off-grid electrical system challenges can be hidden behind the walls (literally). We do our best to create a plan of action via video consultation. If the problem is great than what we can solve via a video call, we can schedule a time to see the system in real life.

Pricing
01. Consultation Fee
We charge a flat rate fee of $235 for the first hour of consultation. The first consultation will include a full review of your electrical system, troubleshooting and feedback on your off-grid electrical system, and a detailed game plan of next steps.
We are here to be an expert resource for you and support you in whatever step of the process you are in.
If you need follow up support after our first 1-hour consultation, follow up hours have a flat rate fee of $150 an hour.
If you are in need of extra support or system upgrades that would entail us seeing your off-grid electrical system in real life, we can get that scheduled!
The fee would still be $150 an hour, plus cost of any components of supplies necessary to fix the system.
03. Follow Up Hours
We offer product sourcing for our consulting clients. We highlight all of the necessary components, wires, lugs, breakers, etc. for your build to be successful and will order the components and ship them directly to you.
There is no extra fee to our consulting clients for product sourcing, only the cost of the components and shipping.
